Vivo Confirmed to Launch iQOO Pro 5G on August 22

The Chinese Company Vivo has announced its first-ever Smartphone (Vivo IQOO Pro 5G) with 5G network support. It is none other than IQOO Pro, which will be launched on 22 August. The company officials have confirmed the news by teasing the launch of the phone on its Weibo account.

In the first move, it published a poster of the IQOO Pro 5G smartphone. Likewise, it revealed that the phone would be launched in August and also shed some light on its design and physical appearance.

Further, the poster showed a triple-camera setup on the back panel along with the company logo at the base. Besides, you can see a button on its left side to power on/off the device or meant for Google Assistant.

Apart from it, we have no information on its spec-sheet, price and availability yet. Similarly, we also don’t know whether the company is going to launch only a 5G version or there will be other devices as well.

As per the speculations, we can expect the IQOO Pro 5G phone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC. In addition, we have come across another device online named as IQOO Plus 5G with some key features. The leaked banner told us the phone would hold a price tag of CNY4498.

Furthermore, it also uncovers that the device will install Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor and 8GB/128GB storage space. In the powerhouse, it will load a 4,500 mAh battery, which will further support ultra-fast 44W Flash Charge technology.

Similarly, Vivo launched IQOO Neo Gaming Phone in China recently. It features a 6.38-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ display including 19.5:9 aspect ratio. Further, it supports the Snapdragon 845 processor alongside 8 GB and 128 GB storerooms.

For photography, it adopts three cameras (12 MP+8 MP+2 MP) on the rear side, whereas the front side equips a 12 MP single camera.

Xiaomi Mi Reader Released: New e-book reader willing to compete with the Amazon Kindle(Get It For $130)

As we had advanced a few days ago, Xiaomi has introduced its first electronic book reader. A new product that arrives under the name ” My Reader ” willing to compete more economically with the renowned Amazon Kindle.

Xiaomi Mi Reader is presented as a new eReader consisting of a body made of high strength ABS plastic and size of 159.2x116x8.3mm along with a weight of only 178 grams. In its upper part, we find a single physical power button while in its lower part it has a USB Type-C port.

On its front, there is a new electronic-ink screen with HD resolution and 221ppi which, together with its anti-dazzling treatment, offers an experience very similar to that of paper. In addition, so that we can read our favorite book under any lighting conditions, the new Xiaomi Mi Reader has 24-level LED lighting with a brightness uniformity of up to 90%.

Inside we find a powerful Allwinner B300 processor with 4 cores at 1.8GHz. In turn, it has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage enough to read the heaviest books, whether they are text or numerous images such as comics and manga. As far as the battery is concerned, it has enough 1,800mAh to reach an autonomy of more than one month.

Its operating system is based on Android 8.1 Oreo and allows us to fully manage our library, as well as a fully customizable configuration of the font type and size. In addition, among features it allows you to adjust the contrast of the images in order to visualize the graphic novels with a better level of detail. It also has 2.4GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1.

Price and availability

Xiaomi Mi Reader will go on sale this November 20 starting at a price of 579 yuan, about 75 euros to change ($83). For now, it is not known if it will reach the international market officially although it is very likely that in the next few days we will see it for sale in the main resellers. It is already available on Banggood for $130.99

First update for Xiaomi Watch will arrive on Dec 3 – It will bring iOS system adaptation

A couple of days ago, Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, officially announced its first-ever Xiaomi Watch. This watch is meant to be a much cheaper version of Apple’s Watch series. Yesterday, the general manager of Xiaomi Ecological Chain, Xiaoheng, said on Weibo that the first batch of Xiaomi Watch is already with users. The company is already getting loads of feedback for its first smartwatch. He thanked customers for the feedback saying “this is the most important help for the continuous improvement experience”.
