The Xiaomi POCOPHONE F1 is the first smartphone of the new sub-brand of the company. This phone has become very popular for its incredible price-performance ratio. Thanks to this, the device has sold more than 700,000 units in the first three months since its launch. Now it will receive a great update that many were waiting for, with MIUI 10.1 stable it will be able to update to Android 9 Pie (many users think it should have come with this OS from the start).

Soon the update of MIUI 10.1 stable will begin to be implemented through OTA, but if you want to be a pioneer and have the knowledge, you can download the file and upload it manually to your device. The update can be downloaded manually here if you do not want to wait.

The changelog does not bring great highlights. It can be noted that the camera application is now compatible with Google Lens, in addition, the problems with Android Auto have been solved and the problem with the microphone, which did not work after connecting the headphones, has also been solved. However, it should also be noted that there are some problems that have not been solved or that seem to have reappeared, such as keyboard delay and notification handling. We wait for the official launch of the OTA for more information about it.
